About Us – Discovering EMUN2026
EMUN is a fast-paced, realistic Model United Nations conference for high school students that aims to simulate the inner workings of the cabinets and committees that make up the United Nations. Since the creation of EMUN in 2019, we’ve hosted hundreds of delegates from around the world, providing them with meaningful experiences that change world views. This will be EMUN’s eighth edition.
The historical simulation will explore critical moments such as the Roman Senate, the Six-Day War, and the AIDS crisis, giving delegates the chance to engage with political, social, and humanitarian challenges from multiple perspectives.
Our present-day simulation focuses on Latin America, addressing pressing regional issues, and the FIFA World Cup, examining the way sports, diplomacy, and international influence intersect. Delegates can choose from ten different committees and cabinets, all interconnected, to highlight the complexity of global relationships.
EMUN is designed to raise delegates’ voices, develop critical thinking, and inspire creative solutions to global challenges. Our dedicated staff of 9th-12th grade students work alongside delegates to make this a collaborative and transformative learning experience.
