Academic excellence
At Eton School Mexico, our students study some of the most comprehensive national and international educational programs.
Our Early Childhood, Elementary, and Middle School programs are recognized by the Mexican Ministry of Education, while the High School program is recognized by the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
Additionally, our Middle & High School students can complete two International Baccalaureate (IB) programs: the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the world-renowned Diploma Programme (DP).
We are always looking for ways to improve. Cognia is the organization that evaluates our teaching practices, and their accreditation is recognized across the globe for its commitment to international standards of excellence. In 2022, we were recognized as a Cognia School of Distinction. Additionally, this accreditation allows our students to get a US High School Diploma when they graduate.
Our students’ high academic achievement is reflected in their results on both the IB exams and the standardized test known as Measures of Academic Progress (MAP), which assesses math, reading and language skills. Our IB pass rate is 95% and our highest overall Diploma score is 41 out of 45 points. Likewise, our MAP scores are 9 points above the world average.
When it comes to thinking about their future, our students have excellent career and college guidance that helps them make the best decision regarding their post-secondary education. Several top Mexican universities recognize our students through scholarships and automatic admission due to their academic excellence and leadership skills.
Because of their high academic performance, our students are accepted to prestigious public and private universities both in Mexico and abroad, such as Universidad Iberoamericana, Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Universidad Anáhuac (Mexico), Boston University, UC Berkeley, UT Austin, Notre Dame University, Savannah College of Art and Design (United States), University of British Columbia (Canada), among others.
